FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When is the best time to book my cake?
As soon as you have secured your wedding date and venue, I would recommend booking your suppliers. Popular summer months and weekends do book up very quickly, sometimes up to two years in advance.
Can I book with you, even if I don't know what I want yet?
Absolutely! I'm here to help guide you through the design process and recommend your perfect cake size based on your needs.
How many flavours can I choose?
You're welcome to choose a different flavour for each tier of your cake at no additional cost... in fact I highly recommend it! Opting for more than one flavour gives your guests a choice on the day and there will be something for everyone.
How many guests should I cater for?
If you don't wish to cater for all your guests, then a good rule of thumb is to go for around 80% of your total guest number ~ If however you are planning to serve your cake as the dessert course with your wedding breakfast, you will need to cater for 100%.
Can you cater for any special dietary requirements?
As I'm not a 'Free-From' kitchen, I can provide you with some additional 'Reduced-Gluten' Cupcakes to supplement your order. Unfortunately though, I don't provide Vegan, Eggless or Dairy-Free cakes, and I cannot cater to Nut allergies.
How much will my cake cost?
As all of my wedding cakes are custom designed, this will vary from each design.
Please refer to my information and pricing page for a guide, or get in touch with me for a more specific quote.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a £100 booking fee is required to secure your date in my diary.
Do you deliver?
I personally hand deliver and setup every wedding cake. In the lead up I will liaise with your wedding venue and planner to ensure your wedding cake is delivered and setup on time, in the right place with exact instructions, so you can be rest assured that your cake will be perfectly presented on your special day.
